I am working on a ?Kit?s Scenes & Settings? that I had originally planned to finish by this holiday season for my daughter Chelsea. As most of you know, the back of the S & S books feature a map of the particular American Girl's neighborhood.
Well, I have finished the graphics for the Map of Kit Kittredge's World, and since the S & S won?t be ready for this December, I will be printing out the map and giving it to her as "Kit's World Map" for Christmas this year.
This map is featured on my site's "Items That Never Were" page. On the site is a 18" x 12" version of the map, but as an exclusive to the members of this board, here is a link to the full size 21" x 32" version:

The map is based on a 1935 map of Cincinnati obtained from a vintage atlas.

Wow! This is super. What a great job you did on this. Wouldn't a Scenes and Settings be fun for Kaya, too?

Wow- how great! If you don't mind my asking, how are you making the scenes and settings? I've wanted to make some for Josefina, especially since her paintings were already done and are so beautiful, but I haven't figured out how I could get them printed at the right size without losing resolution.

Yes, please tell us how you plan to take the scenes and settings from computer graphics to play boards. Your work is so professional--do you do something like this for a living? Thank you for sharing your map with us.

Thanks for posting the link Curt That map is awesome. I, too, would like to find out how you are going to make the scenes and settings. Your daughters are very fortunate to have a Dad like you!
